Job Summary:

The Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics seeks to hire a new faculty member for the 2017-2018 academic year. This is a tenure track position at the assistant professor level. The faculty hire should hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or closely related field with experience in cyber security, and will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in computer science and cyber security, and take a leading role in the process of maintaining the CAE/IAE (CDE) designation of our program. The position requires a record of scholarship in the field of computer science. The faculty member is expected to be involved in curriculum development, research, recruitment and retention activities, student advising, and service to the department, college and university.

Required Qualifications:

The faculty hire should hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or closely related field with experience in cyber security, and will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in computer science and cyber security, and take a leading role in the process of maintaining the CAE/CDE designation of our program.

Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
