Job Summary:

The Petrocelli College School of Administrative Science, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Metropolitan Campus and the College at Florham, is seeking an Assistant Professor of Sports Administration. This is a tenure-track position beginning Fall 2017. Primary teaching responsibilities consist of undergraduate and graduate courses in sports administration. Petrocelli College offers an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts in Sports Administration (BASA) and a Master of Sports Administration (MSA).

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate is expected to contribute significantly to providing the Sports Administration programs in the College and to maintain a record of scholarly publications in the area.

A Doctoral degree in Sports Administration or related field and a minimum of three years of successful college teaching experience are required.

Experience in the field of sports preferred.

Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with the university’s Motor Vehicle policy. A DMV check will be required at the time of hire and thereafter as deemed appropriate by the university. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the DMV check.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
